Here’s some tools we made to help our fellow creators keep creating.
UGG Converter
This handy tool lets you convert UGG files from the RODE Wireless Go II to WAV audio files in a simple and fast way without having to use the Rode Central App.
Blender to ACES
A great script for converting Blender projects to the ACEScg colourspace.
It will change the colourspace of all your colour and non-colour inputs to their corresponding ACES profile and confrom all RGB values to the correct ACES values.
UGG Converter
The RODE Wireless GO II is a great tool, but converting those proprietary UGG files? Not so fun. We've been there, done that, and decided there had to be a better way. Enter our UGG to WAV Converter. It's straightforward and free.
Transfer your UGG files directly to your computer, and our tool handles the conversion in one batch. It's fast, efficient, and lets you bypass the Rode Central app entirely. Convert all your files in just a few seconds, and focus on what you do best—creating.
Ready for a smoother workflow? Try it out.
Blender to ACES
When you shift your projects to the ACES OCIO configuration for enhanced colour accuracy in CG and VFX, you might notice that it disrupts the colour settings in your existing Blender files. That's why we've created Python scripts that make this transition seamless.
Our scripts dives into your project, identifying any element linked to a colour socket—whether it's part of a material, texture, or node like roughness and normals—and adjusts its values to align with the ACES colour space. It ensures that all your sRGB images and shader inputs are converted correctly, maintaining the integrity of your project's visuals.
To use it, simply open your project in Blender, navigate to the Scripting window, and copy and paste our scripts into a new data block. With a click, it will go through your nodes, adjusting colours, and non-colour data to their correct ACES profiles. It's designed to work across your entire project, from simple Base Color adjustments in the Principled BSDF shader to complex setups involving Color Ramps and beyond.
Important: Always back up your Blender files before running any scripts. Our tool is crafted to be as comprehensive as possible, but the unique creativity found in individual node setups means it's better to be safe.
